List oven, carpet, windows, walls, blinds, appliances, garage, or balcony work so it can be included or priced separately.

Set the handover window
State when the property becomes empty, when keys must be returned, and any access or parking restrictions.
Why two prices may look very different
- One quote may include products and equipment while another expects them onsite.
- A fixed-price quote may allow for a defined result; an hourly quote may place more risk on the customer if the condition changes.
- One cleaner may include appliance interiors or windows that another treats as extras.
- Travel, paid parking, building access, minimum bookings, or after-hours work may be handled differently.
- Crew size can change the elapsed time even when total labour effort is similar.
Choose clarity before the lowest headline
A useful quote states what will be cleaned, what is excluded, the pricing basis, and how extra work will be approved. Ask questions while there is still time to change the scope rather than when the cleaner is waiting outside.
If your budget is tight, identify must-do areas first and ask which optional jobs you could complete yourself. Do not remove a task that is important to your property-specific handover without understanding the consequence.
