- Empty cupboards and drawers, then vacuum crumbs before wiping suitable interiors and fronts.
- Degrease the splashback, hob, rangehood exterior, handles, and washable preparation surfaces.
- Clean the sink, taps, drain area, and benchtop without using products that may damage the finish.
- Confirm separately whether oven, fridge, dishwasher, or rangehood interiors are included.
- Finish kickboards, appliance spaces, skirting, edges, and the floor after all higher work is complete.
Bathrooms and laundry
- Remove personal products and allow suitable cleaners time to work on soap and mineral residue.
- Clean shower, bath, basin, toilet, mirrors, reachable fittings, storage, and ventilation covers.
- Rinse and dry polished surfaces so streaks, residue, and missed edges are easier to see.
- Check behind doors, around the toilet base, under accessible vanities, and beside appliances.
- Clean the laundry tub, shelving, splash areas, lint, and floor without disturbing services.
Bedrooms, living areas, and storage
- Dust high ledges, light fittings that are safely reachable, doors, frames, shelves, and skirting.
- Empty and clean wardrobes, cupboards, built-in drawers, windowsills, and accessible tracks.
- Spot-clean washable marks carefully and stop if paint or finish begins to change.
- Vacuum edges, corners, under removed furniture, and suitable soft surfaces before hard floors.
- Check heat-pump exteriors, vents, switches, handles, and other touch points without opening equipment.
Finish with the route out
Inspect halls, stairs, entrance glass, door tracks, balconies or garages included in the scope, and the path used to remove equipment. Take final photos only after floors are dry and the last rubbish is gone.
