Condition changes the practical scope
An empty, regularly maintained home is different from a property with heavy grease, pet hair, adhesive residue, or belongings left behind. Honest condition notes help the cleaner bring the right products, equipment, crew, and time allowance.
If there is significant mould, pest contamination, hazardous residue, bodily fluids, needles, or building damage, stop and ask whether a qualified specialist or property manager needs to assess the area first.
Ask for exclusions too
A clear exclusion list is as valuable as an inclusion list. It shows which tasks remain yours and reduces disagreement when the property is inspected.
